Ok. Goosebumps and loss of breath are quite frequent along this drive to our destination in Crested Butte, Colorado. Every turn opened to amazing views as we followed the river through the gorge. Definitely a must do drive or train ride.
Finally our thirst is quenched with desert terrain and a fresh reservoir perfect for a rest in Lake Pueblo State Park, Colorado. So we pitched our tent and roasted some marshmallows for s'mores under a blanket of stars and moonlight glow. The following day we were eager to hit the trails for some mountain biking and hiking.
